Echostrata is the alias for Ted Meyer, a Brooklyn-based songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist.

Ted sings the lead & backing vocals and plays all the instruments. These instruments include electric & acoustic guitars, bass guitar, drums & percussion, piano, synths, keyboards, hammered dulcimer, tambura, loops, banjo, santur, sarod, sitar, autoharp & harmonica.

The sounds and music of Echostrata reach deep into the well of wide-ranging influences.  Some influences include ambient, psychedelic, folk, electronica, world, and a healthy dose of 1960s garage punk to name but a few.
